All my other automatics are Seikos, so I have never had to worry about this before. That is what I was thinking. I found a pdf file neatly written in Jenglish that had a pretty good explanation of the movement, but I wanted to verify.

I just picked up a Barracude also. Does the Miyota hand wind? It feels like it does but I didn't think it had that feature. I have actually just been handwinding my Benarus. I figured out it actually has to turn CCW in the winder. I have been rotating my Seikos through the winder, so it's just as easy if not easier to wind the Barracuda by hand.

I really need to buy another winder. I typically only wear each watch one day each week, so it would be easier if I had a second winder.
